Who we are

SadiFI is operated by The Sardjono Studio, based in South Africa. For privacy questions or requests, email support@sadifi.com with the subject “Privacy request”.

Information used by SadiFI

Account information includes your email address, profile details and selected country. Service records can include your subscription or trial, payment references and status, referrals, linked devices and account activity. When you contact support, we receive the information you send us.

The desktop app works with financial records you enter or import, such as income, expenses, debts, goals and assets. Records may be stored on your device. When you use cloud sync, supported records and sync information are sent to the cloud. Records sent through encrypted sync are encrypted on your device before upload and unlocked on your linked devices using your encryption key. Keep your recovery code safe. Account, purchase and device information is handled separately to operate the service.

Why information is used

Information is used to provide accounts, verify access, synchronise supported records, process purchases, administer referrals, help with support and troubleshoot security or service problems. Account details are required for account-based services; additional financial entries are provided by you. Without necessary account or payment information, we may be unable to provide those services.

Processing must have an applicable lawful basis, such as performing our agreement with you, meeting legal obligations, protecting legitimate interests or your consent where required. A privacy notice is not a request for blanket consent.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers for website hosting, account services, cloud storage, email delivery and secure payment processing. They receive information needed to provide those services. Payment details entered on a provider’s checkout are governed by that provider’s own privacy notice. Do not send card details, passwords or recovery codes to support.

Authorised support staff may use your account, purchase and device information to help you and maintain the service. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law. External links, bank shortcuts and market services have their own practices.

Storage and international processing

Local app records remain on the devices where you store them unless you export, back up or synchronise them. Service providers may process information outside South Africa. For questions about where your information is processed and the safeguards that apply, contact support using the details above.

Retention and security

Information should be kept only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, applicable legal obligations or legitimate dispute and security needs. Deletion requests may not immediately remove records that must lawfully be retained, or copies within backup cycles. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion of your information.

Keep devices, account credentials, backups and recovery codes secure. No system can promise absolute security. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorised account access.

Website storage

Website and service requests necessarily communicate technical information such as your IP address. Authentication and service providers may process technical data for delivery and security. This notice does not give blanket consent to advertising or unrelated tracking.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information, correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Withdrawing consent does not undo lawful processing already completed.

You can raise a concern with us or the South African Information Regulator. See its current contact details and POPIA request forms.

Changes

When this notice changes, the revision date will be updated. Material changes to how information is used should be communicated appropriately.
